This weekend marks the opening round of the new Hampshire Judo Team Championships, which our club is hosting again this year.

The championships is a kyu grade team event for men and a kyu grade round-robin event for women. Our club came third last year and we intend to improve on this in 2013/2014.

The event is at our home, St Marys Leisure Centre, 2pm on 6 October 2013. Members who wish to participate should have a current BJA license ( http://www.britishjudo.org.uk/join/ ) and bring three pounds entry fee.

Spectators are free, so if you are not playing this time, please do come along and watch. Our team will appreciate the support; also any volunteers who would not mind helping on the day would be appreciated.
